Minimum Wage 2024 in Honduras

The Tripartite Board, comprised of representatives from the Government of the Republic, the business sector, and the labor sector, has reached an agreement on the minimum wage in Honduras for the years 2024 and 2025. This agreement was reached on February 26 of the current year and establishes that the increase corresponding to the months of January and February will be paid in a deferred manner no later than April 30 of this same year.
The approved wage adjustment was determined as follows:
The minimum wage to be applied nationwide is detailed according to economic activities, worker categories, and amounts.
It is important to mention that this agreement excludes workers in the textile maquila sector and other free zone enterprises, pursuant to the "Agreement for the Promotion of Investment, Generation, Protection, and Development of Decent Employment, Health, Access to Credit, Debt Consolidation, and Access to Housing for Workers in the Honduran Textile Maquila Sector and other Free Zone Enterprises", signed on December 13, 2018.
